The Resurrection a hoax!?!!

to whom He also presented Himself alive after His suffering by many infallible proofs, being seen by them during forty days and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God.  Acts 1:3 (NKJV)

 Resurrection Sunday was celebrated this past Sunday by Christians everywhere. This celebration had nothing to do with bunnies, chicks, eggs, and new clothes.

It was about Jesus' triumph over sin and death. It was about restoring man's relationship with the Father through His death. He declared, "It is finished!'  referring to the debt of sin being  stamped "paid in full" upon His death.  

For the next 40 days (after His resurrection), He appeared several times to the disciples to show them that He was indeed alive (John 20:19-20), and to continue to teach and prepare them before His return to His seat beside the Father. There were many things that He tried to teach the disciples prior to His crucifixion that they just did not understand. 

Jesus allowed Thomas to put his finger in the nail prints in His hands and feet and then His side.  Jesus said,  "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed.  Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.  (John 20:29)  He ate and drank with them proving that He was not a ghost nor was His resurrection a hoax.  and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve.  After that He was seen by over five hundred brethern at once... (1 Corinthians 15:5-6a)  Before He ascended, Jesus prayed for the disciples and all Believers (that includes us) in *John 17.  So, let's be about the Fathers' business as His disciples spreading the Good News that He lives!
