Everything Has Its Time.
To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven: Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV). This is true in nature and in our journey of faith.
A time to be born, and A time to die...Ecclesiastes 3:2.
There are several people whom I know personally (including me) who are presently in a season of dealing with the reality of loved ones transitioning from this realm of life to their next. It is especially challenging when there are multiple deaths occuring close together.
A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance;...Ecclesiastes 3:4.
Death is a part of the cycle of life, and we grieve the absence of loved ones from our lives. They are gone physically, yet we understand that *death is not the end of the story.
1 Thessalonians 4:13 reads "But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope." Believers are not exempt from grieving and mourning, and we turn to Jesus to comfort and heal our hearts.
May we encourage ourselves in the Lord and comfort each other.
