Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]. Hebrews 11:1 AMP

This can be a "mouth full" to digest, so try reading it twice.  First, read the parts NOT in parentheses, then read it in its entirety.

 

According to the internet, an acronym is 'a word or name formed from the initial letters of a longer name or phrase, pronounced as a word.  Here are a few such phrases for the word FAITH.

        F --Forwarding                F--Full                      F--Forsaking

A--All A--Assurance. A--All

I---Issues. I--In I---I

T--To T--The T--Trust

H--Him H--Heart H--Him

Ephesians 2:8 (NKJV) refers to faith as a fruit of the spirit and a gift. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.  Corinthians 12:9  refers to faith specifically as a spiritual gift.   Faith is contagious and should be lived out loud.  Faith is active and not passive.  Faith is not sitting around with our fingers crossed while hoping and wishing.  

Faith is like a muscle.  You don't know for sure if you have it or not until it is tested, and like a muscle, the more it is used (activated), the stronger it gets. 

In those times when your faith is being tested/proven, reflect on all the times when you've witnessed the hand of God move in answer to prayer and faith.  Go back to Hebrews 11 which has been called the Faith Hall of Fame where many verses start with "By faith_________.  He is the same God today that He was back then. (Malachi 3:6)

May I leave you with this.  Lamentations 3:21-23 (NKJV). This I recall to my mind, Therefore I have hope.  Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not.  They are new every morning, Great is Your faithfulness.
